Brad Bumsted is a prominent Pennsylvania journalist working for LNP Media Group and previously the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and Gannett News Service. He is a regular guest on TV and radio shows, offering commentary and analysis on state politics and corruption. Keystone Corruption Continues published by Sunbury Press is his second book about the wave of corruption among Pennsylvania public officials since 2007. In 2013, Camino Books published Keystone Corruption.
Bumsted is the winner of numerous state and national awards, including first place Spotlight awards three straight years from the Society of Professional Journalists and first place awards from the Associated Press Managing Editors in 2006 (metro division) for investigative reporting and for public service with ex-colleague Debra Erdley. Though much of his award-winning work is for investigative reporting, other areas of commendation highlight spot news reporting. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a history concentration from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
