Brian J. Cano is not only a recognized expert in the paranormal community, he is also a pioneer of the paranormal television movement. His cable access show Scared on Staten Island (later titled SCARED!) garnered significant regional popularity and became an influential predecessor to similar shows on major networks. From there, Brian’s platform continued to grow as a fixture at conventions and events across the country. His scientific and reasoned approach to paranormal investigating, along with his technical expertise, landed him on Syfy’s Haunted Collector with John Zaffis. Brian has also appeared on History Channel’s The Curse of Oak Island and The UnXplained hosted by William Shatner, TRVL Channel’s Most Terrifying Places in America, and he is currently a featured analyst for TRVL’s Paranormal Caught on Camera, now in its fifth season.
With decades of experience, Brian stands apart in this growing field for his passion to educate others, not just entertain them; to open their minds to the reality of paranormal phenomena, but with healthy measures of skepticism and rational insight, and as a source of existential discovery. When not filming, Brian can be found sharing his wit and wisdom as a keynote speaker at major conferences and universities throughout the US and abroad. He also routinely holds events of his own at haunted hotspots. Additionally, Brian hosts international tours in a global pursuit of the paranormal, and his trailblazing History of the Paranormal exhibit is presently making its inaugural tour at unique historical locations across the US.
