Douglas M. Rife has been developing products for classroom teachers and school administrators as a publisher and author for decades. His personal passion is American history, which has led him to republish out-of-print local histories, volunteer as a docent, help to preserve local historic sites, and assist in drafting legislation to protect cemeteries in his home state. He blogs about cemeteries at gravelyspeaking.com and has written more than 25 books for teachers who teach American and family history. Currently, Rife lives in Bloomington, Indiana, with his wife, where they raised their three children.
