Frank McAdams is the author of The American War Film: History and Hollywood; Vietnam Rough Riders: A Convoy Commander’s Memoir, nominated for a Pulitzer Prize; California Rain: Nothing Stops those with No Sense of Decency, a noir thriller set against the 1950 Hollywood Blacklist. He was a faculty member in the Writing Division, USC Cinematic Arts Department for 27 years, gaining a Fulbright Grant to the University of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain. He holds a B.S. degree (History) from Loyola University, Chicago, and a M.F.A. from UCLA. Frank and his wife, Patty, live in Southern California.
