Josh Penzone lives with his wife and daughter in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio, where he's taught public high school for the last two decades. The idea for the collection of "The Court of Vintage Woods" came to him when he saw an open door off of Cambridge Boulevard in Upper Arlington. He wondered who lived in that beautiful home, and what stories they chose to share, and what secrets they fought to keep. Eight years later, a Masters in Creative Writing later (thank you Wilkes University), and (seemingly) one hundred drafts later, the collection has arrived. He's currently revising a novel, which he hopes to have out to the world in less than eight years this time around.
