Mark P. Donnelly is an author and historian who has written dozens of books on a diverse array of historical non-fiction subjects. He is also an established antique dealer (specializing in antique canes and walking sticks). Additionally, he has spent over three decades as a Professor of Arms, teaching Historical European Armed Combat. As such, he is particularly (and perhaps uniquely) qualified to tackle this esoteric and previously neglected subject.
