Sales for the quarter to date were up 3% compared to the same period in 2012. Jim Dohren's Letters from a Shoebox: The Civil War Correspondence of John Huffman, David Huffman and William Bowman, jumped to #3, thanks to author events and brisk sales in Ohio and Indiana. Mike and Ethan Sgrignoli's Dinorific Poetry series, a father-son collaboration highlighting interesting "ancient animals," ranked #4 (Volume 3), #7 (Volume 2) and #8 (Volume 1) due to author events. John Lindermuth's Digging Dusky Diamonds, a history of the Coal Region of Pennsylvania, ranked #5 due to sales in the Shamokin area. jtp_fcColors in the Garden the Creator Made, Wendy Latty's richly illustrated children's book introducing the ROY G BIV color spectrum, nabbed the 6th position thanks to author activities. Mike Campbell's Amelia Earhart - The Truth At Last rejoined the list, taking #9, thanks to bookstore and library sales. Tony Julien's Pit Bulls returned to the rankings, taking #10 on the list, due to sales to dog enthusiasts.
