Introducing the Author Event Network (AEN) Sunbury Press Chapter
At Sunbury Press, we’ve always believed that publishing a book is just the beginning. The true impact of a story comes to life when authors connect directly with readers, sharing experiences, sparking conversations, and becoming part of the communities around them.
That belief is exactly what drew us to the Author Event Network (AEN), and why we’re excited to begin building a Sunbury Press chapter within this growing initiative.
The mission of AEN is simple, yet powerful: to connect accomplished and award-winning published and indie authors with book lovers by creating opportunities to share space with other talented writers at festivals, fairs, and community events. These experiences allow authors to sell directly to readers, build meaningful relationships, and bring their stories into the world in a more personal and impactful way.
With AEN, authors aren’t just showing up, they are participating in opportunities that can increase visibility, deepen reader engagement, and create lasting connections with people genuinely interested in their work. There is something special about meeting the person behind the story, and AEN is built to make those moments happen.
AEN itself is a nonprofit association of authors based in the State of Washington, currently operating across Washington and Oregon. It is run by its members, for its members, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, community, and shared success.
Now, Sunbury Press is bringing that same energy and opportunity closer to home by opening the first AEN chapter on the East Coast.
The Sunbury Press AEN chapter is intended to create a space where our authors can participate in curated events, collaborate with one another, and grow their presence within their local and regional communities. Our initial focus will be on opportunities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with the goal of expanding over time as the chapter grows. This chapter will open the door to new opportunities for engagement while remaining rooted in the supportive, author-focused culture that defines both Sunbury Press and AEN.
This is just the beginning, and we’re incredibly excited about what’s ahead.
If you’re a Sunbury Press author, or an author interested in learning more about how to get involved, we would love to connect with you. There is a place for you in this growing network, and we’re eager to build it together.
