Arisa is a teenage musical mystery. A brilliant guitarist, Arisa has completed an exclusive performing arts school curriculum in one year. Admired and respected by her peers, Arisa is dubbed “The Black Swan” for her dark hair, looks, and solitary demeanor.

Arisa, however, keeps her deepest fears and doubts to herself. She furthers the enigma with her nocturnal travels through Osaka’s backstreets, where the bottles break, to a supposedly abandoned building and its equally mysterious owner.

Then, Arisa meets her polar opposite: Yomi, a small-town girl, armed with a secondhand cello. Known as “The White Bird,” Arisa finds in Yomi a partner, a muse, and a person whose history is a complete unknown.
