Very interesting autobiography of one life's many trials and triumphs. The difficulties that were faced and overcome- were they perseverance or divine intervention? Perhaps a bit of both. The story is presented in a conversational style which makes you want to know what could possibly happen next. Good read.

Stories of Help From the Other Side is a moving reflection of a spiritual relationship with the Universe and how a person that recognized that relationship used it to guide her own her life. That if you are knocked down you do have the power to get up again. A moving story that may help women understand that they should trust their intuition and oneness with the universe and don't let anyone tell you your crazy stupid for listening to the messages.

Penny Fletcher with her personal and non-fictional story reminds us all of how there are many things that defy easy explanation. This book opened my eyes about similar things that happened in my own life and showed me that some outcomes-while tragic are indeed necessary to make room for the future. Ms. Fletcher takes on topics fearlessly that too often most of us all to choose to ignore. She also does not give in to the temptation to wrap everything up in a neat and shiny bow. She is open about her and her family's struggles and does not give excuses or over rationalization. In the end she is able to look back and see God's hand in her everyday life. The very idea that God can have a hand in those of us living these most horrible struggles and there are reasons and maybe even rewards for going through them is gratifying. To those who are willing and daring enough to walk in another person's shoes this book is for you. I was tense and truly afraid of what would happen to this woman. My heart ached. I marveled at her courage. I came to the conclusion we can make a change. We all can start anew. It won’t be easy! you will always wonder if you did the right thing but, there is always hope and even help from Above. I am quite certain that this is what the author intended with this book. I hope this book will inspire readers everywhere to reconsider and re-examine their own lives, how they interact with others and how truly precious this gift of life truly is! A powerful read.

I read Ms. Fletcher's book with skepticism as I, myself, am not a 'believer'. However, her stories held my interest thus that I could not put the book down and even awoke at 2:00 a.m. to continue reading it. Ms. Fletcher has a nice way of weaving her stories to spark my curiosity as to what will happen to bring her to the conclusion that there was intervention 'from the other side.' I am still not a believer, however, I do believe in Penny Fletcher's ability to hold my interest in her stories.

This book gives so much insight to how our lives have twist, turns, and upheavals as we progress but always with special protection from our universal creator to protect and bring blessings to us. This is a great pass to another book for others to grow from.
